Visual Identity. 2024
By creating a unique and collaborative ecosystem at the crossroads of art, design and impact, GoodPeopleWander has just contributed to the rebirth of a French icon, the Maitre Cartier GRIMAUD:
- Enhancing the heritage (with the help of the BNF, and passionate collectors such as Christian Rouleau),
- Writing future horizons & redesign of the visual identity,
- Artistic curation, including the illustrators Julie Serre, who redesigned the faces and jokers on the playing cards based on the iconic ‘Parisian’ portraits that Grimaud engraved from the middle of the 19th century, Margot Reverdy, who is passionate about restoring the unknown illustrations of the old Marseille tarot.
- Passing on symbolic knowledge of the visible and invisible (with the fortune-teller Laetitia Barbier)
- Perpetuating the excellence of Maître Cartier's expertise (monogrammed card backs on dominoté paper, 10-colour printing on superior black Casino paper, perfect opacity, gilding on rounded corners, original varnish designed for optimum ergonomics).
- Promotion of French paper-making expertise (Créanog - Paris) for the exceptional boxes.
